FSI is working with the leading IC manufacturers around the world to generate world class innovations on FSI tools and processes. Since 2004, FSI’s Knowledge Services Seminar™ Series (KSS) has been the perfect platform for Asia-based IC manufacturers to learn about the latest IC manufacturing and business practices from FSI and other Asia-based IC manufacturers.

FSI KSS Asia 2008 will be held on 4 November in Shanghai, China; 6 November in Seoul, Korea; 11 November in Singapore; and 13 November in Hsinchu and 14 November in Taichung Taiwan. Representatives from local major companies will attend and present keynote addresses and technical lectures at the various locations. In 2007 over 360 industry attendees listened to speakers from Samsung, Hynix, Chartered, SMIC, and UMC, while FSI presented on issues and trends shaping the IC cleaning industry.

This year’s presentations will focus on hot topics like FSI’s ViPR™ technology for all-wet implanted PR removal and for metal removal for salicide formation, FSI’s high-k/metal gate processing technologies and FSI’s new single-wafer platform and technology developments. In addition, speakers from leading Asia-based IC manufactures will present their new achievements on yield gains using FSI cleaning technologies.
