FSI International to hold seminar
series on surface preparation technology in France, Germany
and Italy
MINNEAPOLIS (September 13, 2004) -- FSI International, Inc.
(Nasdaq: FSII) today announced that it is sponsoring a series
of seminars in France, Germany and Italy, to address industry
trends and implementation of surface preparation technology,
presented by leading European IC makers and FSI technologists.
Earlier this year, FSI held a similar series in Taiwan and China
with great success to audiences of more than 100 Asia-based
IC makers.
Designed to create an opportunity for interaction and discussion,
the seminars include presentations from IC makers and FSI. They
will focus on addressing industry trends and the implementation
of surface preparation technology in IC manufacturing, including
experience and results using FSI equipment.
The full day seminars are free of charge, and will be held
in Dresden, Germany on 18 October 2004, Grenoble, France on
20 October 2004 and Catania, Italy on 22 October 2004. There
are two sessions in each seminar. The morning session is a short
course on the Fundamentals of Wet Chemical Processing for IC's led by Dr. Srini Raghavan,
Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, University of
Arizona. The afternoon session includes presentations covering
IC Industry Trends and Surface Preparation Challenges and Solutions
from European IC makers and FSI's own technology experts.
The sessions are designed to be highly informative for an audience
extending from Process Engineers and Managers, through to Fab
Managers and Procurement Specialists. Additional information
